First piece I wove as a gift (for my mother) for Christmas 2003. Woven very early in my experience. I learned to weave in January of 2003, this was woven in November/December of 2003. Rabbits adapted from Here There Be Wyverns by Nancy Spies
Unfortunately, the age of this piece means that the missed-hole and the weft showing through doesn’t appear nearly as well as it did when first woven. It’s a cool technique, though, and I should use it more often. Woven in 2003, one of my very early pieces. Pattern from Card Weaving by Candace Crockett.
2nd piece I ever wove. Not particularly interesting, it’s a fairly basic weave, but the first piece I ever wove, I believe, was burned in a house fire back in 2004. More of a historic curiosity for me than anything. This one was woven about a week after I had learned how to weave at Bobbin-n-Weaving, January 2003.
